QuickChart sits in the system tray and provides fast access to Yahoo market index charts. Version 2.0 also integrates the EvilSpeculator.com Zero charts, an amazingly accurate market trend indicator for trading the S&P 500.

Features & Instructions

NEW: press and hold RIGHT CTRL + RIGHT SHIFT to show the charts

1. mouse over the system tray icon to show the charts; move the mouse away to hide them.
  • left-click the icon to keep chart windows always visible; click again to hide them
  • right-click for the QuickChart menu, where you can select which chart windows to show
    • when the mouse is placed over the system tray icon

2. when chart windows are always visible (after left-clicking the tray icon) drag the window sides to resize (windows can only be made smaller, not bigger than the original size)

3. drag the window title bar to re-position windows on the screen

  • double-click the title bar to restore original window size

4. click the close button to permanently hide a chart window; hidden windows can be re-activated from the tray icon context menu (right-click the icon, see 1.)


Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I get an error message when I try to install or run the application: "Unable to install or run the application. The application requires that assembly System.Core Version 3.5.0.0 be installed in the Global Assembly Cache (GAC) first."
A: You need to install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.

Q: How do I uninstall QuickChart?
A: Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> QuickChart

Q: I just installed a new version of QuickChart and it crashes before it starts
A: Please uninstall QuickChart (see above) and re-install from this web page.
